Join us in our Bunbury store for our ' Miso Cute CupCakes Decorating Class ' 

Basic info : 9.30 am start  - Wednesday 15th April 2026 Allow 1.5 - 2 hours. No baking involved. Take home your work of art 

This "Asian Takeout" cupcake collection is a brilliant choice for a class because it teaches several distinct decorating techniques—from piping precision to structural assembly.

Here is how we’ll break down each design in the workshop:

1. The Ramen Bowl (Top Left)

This cupcake focuses on piping texture.

• The Noodles:We will use a small round piping tip to "nest" buttercream in overlapping squiggles.

• The Toppings: We’ll use colored fondant to hand-mold the fried egg and sliced green onions.

• The Finish: To add a touch of realism, we’ll insert two thin biscuit sticks as chopsticks.

2. The Sushi Roll (Top Right)

This design is all about sprinkle placement and layering.

• The Rice: We’ll coat the top of the cupcake in white frosting and roll the edges in white jimmies to mimic rice grains.

• The Filling: Students will use colored sprinkles (orange and green) to represent carrots and cucumber, with a flat piece of red fruit leather or fondant in the center to look like tuna.

3. The Dim Sum Bao (Bottom Left)

This one teaches meringue and character work.

• The Bun: We’ll top a frosted cupcake with a large, pleated meringue  to create the "bao" shape.

• The Face: Using edible ink markers we will learn to add minimalist expressions to give the cupcakes a "Kawaii" personality.

4. The Fortune Cookie (Bottom Right)

This design focuses on structural accents.

• The Base: A classic swirl of pink buttercream serves as the pedestal.

• The Toppers: Students will learn how to safely anchor a real fortune cookie onto the frosting and add delicate accents like pocky sticks or fondant cherry blossoms to complete the aesthetic.

Our instructor will guide you through the process and offer assistance through each step.

Important Info:

• Images used are our inspiration guide. Colours and patterns will vary!
• Please bring a water bottle and wear closed in shoes.
• Long hair to be tied back.
• A apron will be supplied. 
• This class is suitable for ages 10+
• Our venue is approved by the Bunbury City Council for classes
• Classes are held at 3/7 Hennessy Rd (our Bunbury store)
• Full Payment is required to secure your place
• If you need to cancel, we will hold a credit for a future class if cancelled earlier than 3 weeks before the class
• If cancellation is within 3 weeks all monies will be forfeited
• If we need to cancel due to lack of numbers or illness we will provide a full refund.
