Unicorn Cake Decorating Class

Join us in our Bunbury store for our 'Unicorn Cake Decorating Class'

What is a mudcake hack? This ultimate shortcut involves trimming the icing from a few mud cakes, layering them, adding frosting and finishing with some simple decorations! We are taking our inspo from Tigga Mac's unicorn cake. 

Basic info : 9.20 am arrival for a 9.30 am start on Tuesday 13th January 2026.  Allow around  2-2.5  hours. No baking involved. Take home your work of art = 1 x cake and newfound knowledge

On arrival we will have your work station set up with all the tools you need to decorate.

Jennie will be sharing her techniques, tips and hints through the class.

Buttercream / Colours - We will be using american buttercream and gel based colours, learn how to make the most of your colours and achieve various shades using a mix of 2 -3 colours. 

Piping techniques -  Get creative with piping the unicorns colourful mane.

Decorating - Finish the cake by adding the final touches - edible horn and ears (different ones than our inspo pic!)

Jennie is a self taught baker and cake decorator with a wealth of knowledge and enthusiam. Her passion is in the detail and many hours are enjoyed decorating cupcakes and cakes. She is one of our regular teachers offering a variety of classes. 

You will leave this class feeling confident about your newfound knowledge that can be used on future decorating for cakes and cupcakes.

Important Info:

• Bookings are essential
• Images used are our inspiration guide. Colours and patterns will vary!
• Please bring a water bottle and wear closed in shoes.
• Long hair to be tied back.
• An apron will be supplied.
• This class is suitable for ages 12 - 80 years . Primary school aged children can join in but will need a parent assisting. 
• Our venue is approved by the Bunbury City Council for classes
• Classes are held at 3/7 Hennessy Rd (our Bunbury store)
• Full Payment is required to secure your place
• If you need to cancel, we will hold a credit for a future class if cancelled earlier than 3 weeks before the class
• If cancellation is within 3 weeks all monies will be forfeited
• If we need to cancel due to lack of numbers or illness we will provide a full refund.
