Macaron Mix 500g

 macaron mix is a perfect choice for time and sanity saving!

•  macaron mix, is super easy to use -Simply add water, and food colouring of your choice (optional only), mix, pipe and bake! 
• Macarons can be filled with Buttercream or Ganache and coloured using a range of water-based colours.
• Size: 500g resealable bag
• Ingredients: Sugar, almond meal (30%), whipping agent (emulsifiers 427b, 477), glucose, milk solids, mineral salt (339), egg albumen powder, maize starch, emulsifiers (472e, 481), thickener (1414), salt, vegetable gum (415), acidity regulator (330)

Note: colourmill food colouring cannot be used with macarons. Flavour the filling and not the macaron shells.

Makes : 24 -38 complete macarons, depends on size piped

Ingredients:

500g Macaron Mix

120ml Water (approx. 50-55°C) 

gel food colouring 

Method:

1. Place water and liquid colour into bowl (total weight of water and colour must not exceed 120ml)
2. Add 500g Macaron mix.
3. Blend for one minute on slow and scrape down.
4. Beat on top speed using a beater for 6 minutes.
5. Pipe onto baking trays lined with silicon paper or a macaron mat.
6. Allow to stand for approximately 20 minutes.
7. Bake at 140°C for approximately 20 minutes.
8. Allow to cool.
9. Sandwich two macarons together using buttercreram or ganache
