"Focus on metallic drip and using cake stencils "

A cake decorating class focusing on elegant metallic drip and stencils would likely be a sophisticated and creative experience.

In this class, you would learn how to create a smooth and flawless base for your cake, essential for the metallic drip effect to stand out. Techniques for achieving this include properly layering and crumb-coating your cake using one of our new products - cake cream.

Stenciling will be another key focus of the class. You would learn how to use stencils to create intricate and beautiful patterns on the cake's surface. 

Next, you would learn how to create the metallic drip effect using a metallic-colored lustre dust. This involves achieving the right consistency for the drip and applying it strategically around the edges of the cake to create the drip effect, ensuring it drips down the sides elegantly.

Overall, a cake decorating class centered around elegant metallic drip and stencils would be a blend of precision, creativity, and artistic flair, resulting in a stunning and visually striking cake.

Basic info : 9.20 am arrival on Saturday 21st June. Allow 2.5-3 hours. No baking involved. Take home your work of art = 1 x  cake.

On arrival we will have your work station set up with all the tools you need to decorate this stunnning cake. 

Beccy will be sharing her techniques, tips and hints through the class.

Beccy is self taught baker and cake decorator with a wealth of knowledge and enthusiam. Her passion is in the detail and many hours are enjoyed decorating cupcakes and cakes. Beccy is one of our regular teachers offering a variety of classes.

You will leave this class feeling confident about your newfound knowledge that can be used on future decorating for cakes and cupcakes.

Important Info:

• Images used are our inspiration guide & past classes. Colours and patterns will vary!
• Please bring a water bottle and wear closed in shoes.
• Long hair to be tied back.
• An apron will be supplied.
• This class is suitable for ages 17 - 80 years (If your teenager is booking and you would like to stay please let me know when making the booking as we will need to accommodate extra space)
• Our venue is approved by the Bunbury City Council for classes
• Classes are held at 3/7 Hennessy Rd (our Bunbury store)
• Full Payment is required to secure your place
• If you need to cancel, we will hold a credit for a future class if cancelled earlier than 3 weeks before the class
• If cancellation is within 3 weeks all monies will be forfeited
• If we need to cancel due to lack of numbers or illness we will provide a full refund.
