Join us in our Bunbury store for our ' Flowers N Frames Royal Icing Cookie Class '

"This class is perfect if you would like to learn Royal Icing Piping Techniques including wet on wet style"

Basic info : 9.20 am am arrival on Saturday 15th June 2024. Allow 1.5 hours. No baking involved. Take home your work of art = 6 cookies.

On arrival we will have your work station set up with all the tools you need to decorate 6 cookies. 

Tiana will be sharing her techniques for making Royal Icing covered cookies. We have taken inspiration from the wet on wet technique and will be making a mix of Flowers and Frame Themed Cookies.

Decorating with Royal icing from icing consistencies for flooding and decorating. How to pipe in stages so the icing doesn't smudge and mix together. Guidance on patterns and creative designs. What you can create with a scribe!

Piping techniques, which piping bags and tips to use for Royal Icing.

Tips, plenty will be shared along the way, including which colours will ruin Royal Icing and which colours won't!

You will leave this class feeling confident about your newfound knowledge that can be used on future decorating for cookies.

This is suitable for beginners - advanced. 

Tiana is a self taught cookie and cake decorator with a wealth of knowledge and enthusiam. Her passion is in the detail and many hours are enjoyed decorating cookies and cupcakes through her business Bakes,Bites and All Things Nice. Tiana is one of our regular teachers offering a variety of classes.

Important Info:

• Images used are our inspiration guide from last years classes
• Please bring a water bottle and wear closed in shoes.
• Tea and Coffee making facilities are on-site, help yourself upon arrival.
• An apron will be supplied.
• This class is suitable for ages 14 - 80 years (If your teenager is booking and you would like to stay please let me know when making the booking as we will need to accommodate extra space)
• Our venue is approved by the Bunbury City Council for classes
• Classes are held at 3/7 Hennessy Rd (our Bunbury store)
• Full Payment is required to secure your place
• If you need to cancel, we will hold a credit for a future class if cancelled earlier than 3 weeks before the class
• If cancellation is within 3 weeks all monies will be forfeited
• If we need to cancel due to lack of numbers or illness we will provide a full refund.
