'Class focus on buttercream piping with Russian Flower Tips'

Basic info : 9.50 am arrival for a 10 am start on Wednesday 22nd May. Allow  2  hours. No baking involved. Take home your work of art = 6 cupcakes and newfound knowledge

On arrival we will have your work station set up with all the tools you need to decorate 6 cupcakes.

Rebecca will be sharing her techniques, tips and hints through the morning.

Buttercream / Colours - Learn the difference between oil and gel based colours, how to make the most of your colours and achieve various shades with only 2 or 3 colours, complimentary colouring plus two tone effect. Which buttercream works best for flower piping.

Piping techniques -  How to fill a piping bag like a pro - the mess free way, which piping tips to use for different designs plus how to get more than one pattern and various colours out of each piping tip. Before we start piping on the cupcakes we will have a practice on a sheet of baking paper.

Decorating - Learn how to finish your cupcakes in a simple yet effective style with flowers and leaves.Optional to add a touch of glitter spray.

Rebecca is self taught baker and cake decorator with a wealth of knowledge and enthusiam. Her passion is in the detail and many hours are enjoyed decorating cupcakes and cakes. Rebecca is one of our regular teachers offering a variety of classes and has her own business in Harvey, Cake Artisty by Rebecca.

You will leave this class feeling confident about your newfound knowledge that can be used on future decorating for cakes and cupcakes.

Important Info:

• Images used are our inspiration guide from past classes. Colours and patterns will vary!
• Please bring a water bottle and wear closed in shoes.
• Long hair to be tied back.
• An apron will be supplied.
• This class is suitable for ages 14 - 80 years (If your teenager is booking and you would like to stay please let me know when making the booking as we will need to accommodate extra space)
• Our venue is approved by the Bunbury City Council for classes
• Classes are held at 3/7 Hennessy Rd (our Bunbury store)
• Full Payment is required to secure your place
• If you need to cancel, we will hold a credit for a future class if cancelled earlier than 3 weeks before the class
• If cancellation is within 3 weeks all monies will be forfeited
• If we need to cancel due to lack of numbers or illness we will provide a full refund.
