Join us in our Bunbury store for our 'Mother's Day Bouquet Decorating Class'

Indulge in the art of buttercream piping with our "Mother's day Bouquet" cupcake decorating class! Our expert instructors will guide you through the process, sharing tips and tricks to help you achieve professional-looking results. Whether you're a baking enthusiast looking to expand your skills or a beginner eager to learn the basics, this class is perfect for anyone with a sweet tooth and a love for beautiful desserts. Join us and turn your cupcakes into edible works of edible floral art!

Basic info : 9.20 am arrival for a 9.30 am start on Saturday 4th May 2024.  Allow  2.5  hours.

No baking involved. Take home your work of art = 7 cupcakes displayed and packaged in a take home box and newfound knowledge

On arrival we will have your work station set up with all the tools you need to decorate 7 cupcakes.

Beccy will be sharing her techniques, tips and hints through the morning.

Buttercream / Colours - Learn the difference between american buttercream and swiss meringue, oil and gel based colours, how to make the most of your colours and achieve various shades with only 2 or 3 colours, complimentary colouring.

Piping techniques -  How to fill a piping bag like a pro - the mess free way, which piping tips to use for different designs plus how to get more than one pattern out of each piping tip. Before we start piping on the cupcakes we will have a practice on a sheet of baking paper.

Decorating - Learn how to finish your cupcakes in a bouquet style complete with stems and bow. Package into a gift box. 

Beccy is self taught baker and cake decorator with a wealth of knowledge and enthusiam. Her passion is in the detail and many hours are enjoyed decorating cupcakes and cakes. She is one of our regular teachers offering a variety of classes.

You will leave this class feeling confident about your newfound knowledge that can be used on future decorating for cakes and cupcakes.

Important Info:

 

• Bookings are essential. 
• Please bring a water bottle and wear closed in shoes.
• Long hair to be tied back.
• An apron will be supplied.
• This class is suitable for ages 14 - 80 years (If your teenager is booking and you would like to stay please let me know when making the booking as we will need to accommodate extra space)
• Our venue is approved by the Bunbury City Council for classes
• Classes are held at 3/7 Hennessy Rd (our Bunbury store)
• Full Payment is required to secure your place
• If you need to cancel, we will hold a credit for a future class if cancelled earlier than 3 weeks before the class
• If cancellation is within 3 weeks all monies will be forfeited
• If we need to cancel due to lack of numbers or illness we will provide a full refund.
